Maude Andrade, Sewing Operations Manager

Maude Andrade has over 25 years of experience designing, manufacturing, and marketing her textiles and designs. From 2000-2004 she was a client of Southwest Creations utilizing our sewing services to prep her fabric for printing, finishing handwoven scarves, and sewing garments.  She is a production apprentice to Shirley Grisham, our Operations Director, and she assists our Executive Director, Susan Matteucci, with business development projects. She has lived in Albuquerque off and on for thirty seven years.

Maude has a Bachelor of Science in Botany and a Minor in Chemistry from the University of New Hampshire.  Her mixed media paintings are featured on her web site Maude Andrade and her silk screened clothing can be found at Maude Andrade Designs and her Etsy shop.

I love Southwest Creations because it is a win-win business for US manufacturers. The manufacturing jobs generated by Southwest Creations improve our economy and the dignified work environment empowers our employees both economically and educationally. The on-site childcare is an amazing benefit and Hacia La Universidad is a model program which assists employees and their families in achieving their educational goals.

I’m thrilled to be a part of a business that is a role model for operating a socially responsible manufacturing company.
